A men's super-G and a downhill competition are waiting for you.
In the World Cup season 2009 Val Gardena organizes two World Cup races. This has been decided during the FIS Congress.

Some ski courses will have limited accessibility by the public during the FIS World Cup races in Val Gardena/Gröden. Here is an overview:
Race course Saslong will be closed from 4:00 pm on Dec 13, 2009 to 8:00 am on Dec 19, 2009.
Saslong B course will be open to the public. However, skiers will require a valid ticket to the race on Friday, Dec 18 and Saturday, Dec 19, 2009 as the course runs alongside the racing area.
Courses 3 and 4 Ciampinoi are expected to be closed from 8:00 am on Dec 15, 2009 to 1:00 pm* on Dec 19, 2009.
Course 5 Ciampinoi will be open during the entire period (no ticket to the race required).
Gardena Ronda Express: Riders of the Gardena Ronda Express will require a valid ticket to the race on Friday, Dec 18 and Saturday, Dec 19, 2009 up to 2:00 pm. An alternative bus service will run and take skiers from Col Raiser to the Ciampinoi Lift station in Selva/Wolkenstein every 30 minutes starting.
The bus starts at 9.00 a.m. until 2.00 p.m. and is free of charge!
