At the beginning and at the end of the season (after 29.03.2009) some lifts could be closed and the skiable area could be limited.
Discounted and multiday skipasses are sold in the central offices only.
Refunds
A request for reimbursement will be accepted only if accompanied by the returned skipass and a medical certificate (issued by a physician practising in the Dolomiti Superski area or by the hospital where the injured person has been taken to).
The reimbursement is calculated based on how many days have already been used by the bearer and this procedure is also valid for the seasonal skipasses.
Daily skipasses cannot be reimbursed.
1) The skipass is a personal identity card and includes the name and surname and/or photo of the bearer. The skipass is neither transferable nor exchangeable and cannot be replaced or modified. Multi-day skipasses – up to 7 days - are marked with the letters M (for men), F (for women), S (for senior citizens), J (for children) and B (for children under the age of 8). On the chipcard “my Dolomiti skicard” is printed the name, surname and photo of the bearer.
2) The person who signs for a free photo-bearing skipass on behalf of a child (whose age must be documented), accepts liability for anything that may occur when the child uses any lift facilities under his or her direct supervision. The person who signs also declares to be aware of the provisions to be complied with by lift users.
3) A valid identity card or passport is required to obtain reductions for senior citizens and children: any form of self-certification is deemed not to be a suitable document for purposes of taking advantage of special offers.
4) The skipass’ duration cannot be changed and a valley skipass cannot be exchanged for a Dolomiti Superski one or vice versa.
5) The bearer is responsible for keeping the skipass or debit card in good condition, which remain property of the issuing office.
6) Withdrawn or deliberately damaged skipasses will neither be reimbursed nor replaced by new ones. In the event of loosing the skipass, except daily or afternoon skipasses, a substitution will only be possible if the number of the original skipass can be reported; the administration fee is € 5,00. This amount will not be refunded even if the original skipass is subsequently found; the replacement skipass will be validated – as far as possible - from the day after the request is submitted.
7) Whenever validating is required, the skipass must be shown, upon request, to the lift personnel and to the inspectors who are entitled to check the identity of the user.
8) If a skipass is misused or in particular exchanged, it will immediately be revoked and declared null and void. Legal action will then be taken, conforming with both the Criminal and Civil Code.
9) The debit card is not a personal card and it is only valid in the season in which it has been issued.
10) The skipass and debit card, as transport documents, serve as a tax receipt (decree of 30/06/92) and must be retained throughout the transportation.
11) No guarantee is given that all lift facilities are in operation nor that all ski slopes are usable on any DOLOMITI SUPERSKI nominated areas. Some lifts may be closed and some ski runs limited in use at the beginning and closure of the season (after 29/03/2009) due to service quality snow covered slopes and influx.
12) The validity of the seasonal skipass and 12 days in the season is guaranteed until the 29/03/2009, except for those provisions covering lift operation and the condition of the slopes given in the aforementioned point 11. If snow conditions and numbers of skiers justify the operation of lifts after this date, seasonal skipasses and 12 days in the season will be accepted until 14/04/2009 by the lifts in operation.
13) The classification of the slopes is only an indication and no guarantee is given that all slopes are usable. It is forbidden to use the slopes outside the permissible times for safety reasons.
14) Only in the case of skiing accidents it is possible to receive a partial reimbursement of unused skipasses, which must be multi-day-skipasses including the name and photo of the bearer. Reimbursement will take place in the days following the return of the skipass. In the interest of the injured, the skipass should be returned as soon as possible to the central skipass sales offices only. A request for reimbursement will thus be accepted only if accompanied by the returned skipass and a medical certificate (issued by a physician practising in the Dolomiti Superski area or by the hospital where the injured person has been taken to). The certificate must state that the bearer has been injured to an extent that he or she cannot continue to ski. The reimbursement is calculated based on how many days have already been used by the bearer and this procedure is also valid for the seasonal skipasses. Daily skipasses cannot be reimbursed. Those who accompany the injured person do not have any right to a reimbursement.
15) Skiers ski at their own risk. Each skier must behave in such a way as not to cause injury or damage to other persons or property. Skiers must adjust their pace according to their own capabilities, the conditions of the terrain, visibility, the quality of the snow, and must strictly adhere to the sign-postings.
