Ice climbing

Ice climbing is a special adventure. The unique natural formations that are created when waterfalls freeze at temperatures below 0 °C are sadly short-lived. The Vallunga in Selva is one of the most famous ice climbing areas in the Dolomites: here you can tackle numerous routes of different difficulty levels, such as: Perla Azzurra, Piovra, Magic Flute, Illuminati and many more. The waterfalls at Bulla, the Tervela waterfall in Santa Cristina, the Sella Group and the Sassolungo are also popular destinations for ice climbers. If you feel like trying ice climbing, you have the option of booking an ice climbing course, where you will learn all the basics of this exciting sport.
