At Tublà da Nives, Egon Rusina presents four of his most recent series of works.

In his drawings, the artist explores the relationship between humanity and nature, reflecting on our place in the world. Rusina enters into an inner dialogue with trees, mountains and waterfalls, seeking to uncover nature’s mysteries. With pencil and colour, he captures the fragile balance between people and their environment on paper. A harmony that is gradually being lost in a society shaped by individualism, where our connection to nature increasingly fades into the background.

Who are we? And where are we heading?

Through his inner dialogue, Egon Rusina comes to a realisation: even the darkness of night loses its power to frighten, for it is only through darkness that we can recognise the light.

Opening hours: daily except Mondays, from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. Closed on All Saints’ Day (1 November).

Position

Coming from the south, it is best to exit the Brenner motorway (A 22) at the Bolzano Nord exit and continue along state road 12 to Ponte Gardena, where you turn right onto the bridge and tunnel leading to Val Gardena. After 20 kilometres you reach Selva di Val Gardena. Continue along the main road and turn left at the Hotel Oswald. Here you have two possibilities; simply park your car in the public car park or continue for another 50 metres turning right to the Istitut Ladin and library. You can park your car with a parking disc for 30 minutes. Just below the square is the "Tublà da Nives", which can be reached right up to the entrance - for loading and unloading purposes - even by car.
