Getting around

There’s much to see and do in Val Gardena, so chances are that you’ll have to get around a bit to check off all the items on your to-do list. Worry not – in most cases it is perfectly possible to leave your car in your accomodation’s parking lot. Local buses ply all major routes, dozens of lifts connect the skiing areas, and intuitive signposts in multiple languages make it easy to find the places you’re looking for.

Val Gardena Mobil Card

As long as your accommodation is a member of a local Tourist Association, you will get a free “Val Gardena Mobil Card” for the duration of your vacation. It will allow you to use all public buses for free (including ski buses) that connect Ortisei, Santa Cristina and Selva di Val Gardena with each other. The ideal way to get around quickly, easily and eco-friendly!

Val Gardena Night Bus

With the night bus you get safely back to your accommodation even at a later hour. The service is available on Saturday evening, for a few months also on Friday evening. For the night bus you need a special ticket which is available directly on the buses (Val Gardena Mobil Card is not valid for the night bus).
