Italy and wine go back thousands of years. But did you know that some of the country’s best bottles are produced in South Tyrol? The unique climate of Italy’s northernmost region allows for the creation of truly unique wines. Discover them at the Seira dl Vin in July!

Hosted in Santa Cristina, the Seira dl Vin (“wine evening”) is a special event dedicated to wine and some other gastronomic products of the region. For the occasion, two dozen wineries set up their stands along the town center, presenting their products with pride.

Grab a glass and take a stroll through the pedestrian area as you sample the best wines of the region! Don’t forget to taste some Lagrein (red) and Gewürztraminer (white): these grape varieties are local superstars, and a true rarity on the world market.

Local bands will take care of entertainment, and several stands offer local food. If you’re into wine, don’t miss this unique event!
