Val Gardena’s Christmas markets offers local specialties, woodcarvings, souvenirs and delicacies. Drink some mulled wine as you stroll along the stalls and enjoy the magical Christmas atmosphere. Several events at each market ensure that there’s always something going on! Be sure to check out all of them!

Ortisei

Ortisei has a different concept of Christmas market: Instead of setting up all the stalls in one location, the beautiful huts are spread out all across the pedestrian area of village. As such, Ortisei calls itself a “Christmas town”. Take a walk through the town center, you will be enchanted!

Selva

Situated next to Nives square, Selva’s Christmas market "Mountain Christmas" pays respect to the skiing heritage of the valley by having a miniature cable car run above the stalls. A snow sculpture contest is held in a meadow close to the Christmas market each year - be sure to check it out as you enjoy the holiday vibes!
