Manifesta 7, the European Biennial of Contemporary Art will be hosted by the Trentino – South Tyrol Region. Ortisei - Val Gardena was chosen as "parallel event".

100.000$ - ITF Tennis Tournament

Also this year the Int. ITF Tennis Tournament takes place in Val Gardena. There is a price money of 100.000$. It is the most important tennis tournament in Alto Adige/Südtirol.
