The Tourist offices of the valley organise more different events during the summer months:

From June, 28th to July, 3rd and from August, 30th to September, 4th are going to take place the XXth Alpine Excursion Weeks in Selva Val Gardena.

An unforgettable dinner - An absolute delight at the height on 08.07.2009 and 15.07.2009.

On Sunday, 12th July 2009 the Dolomites’ passes around the Sellagroup (Sella, Gardena, Pordoi and Campolongo) will be closed for motorized traffic from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The mountain passes will be accessible for cyclists only.

Also this year fantastic and incredible musik weeks in Val Gardena. ValgardenaMUSIKA with international famous artists.

Val Gardena - S. Cristina was choosen for the 4th stage of the Bike Transalp with eight stages and 22.117 meters altitude difference.

For the fourth time one of the provincial preselections of the national beauty contest "Miss Italia 2009" take place in Ortisei.

Sunday, 2th August 2009 folclore procession and feast in S.Cristina.

From September, 4th to September, 6th 2009 UNIKA is held in Ortisei. This exhibition and review of Gardena sculptors is going to present the art of wood carving to the public.

These weeks offer an extensive cultural, folklore and musical programme and culinary delights from Val Gardena and South Tyrol.
