The Tourist offices of the valley organise more different events during the summer months:

Belsy is the winner of the folk song contest 2006. She lives in Selva and organizes there the Belsy Festival.

With 90 km and 4.200 m of difference in elevation this race is one of the hardest mountainbike races of the world!

On Sunday, 27th June 2010 the Dolomites’ passes around the Sellagroup (Sella, Gardena, Pordoi and Campolongo) will be closed for motorized traffic from 8.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. The mountain passes will be accessible for cyclists only.

UNIKA is held in Ortisei from September, 3rd to September, 5th 2010. This exhibition and review of Gardena sculptors is going to present the art of wood carving to the public.

These weeks offer an extensive cultural, folklore and musical programme and culinary delights from Val Gardena and South Tyrol.

Also this year the Int. ITF Tennis Tournament takes place in Val Gardena. There is a price money of 100.000$. It is the most important tennis tournament in Alto Adige/Südtirol.
